The Heninger Toyota name has been a fixture in the Calgary automotive industry since the mid-1950s. In 1968, Jack Heninger became aware of Toyota and flew to Toronto to buy a Corolla and drive it all the way back to Calgary. The name Heninger has been linked to Toyota since that day. Family owned and operated since 1957, Brian Heninger took over as President of Heninger Toyota from his father, Jack, in 1987. Heninger Toyota has received various awards over the years. Heninger Toyota has received the Gold recipient of the Calgary Herald Reader's Choice Award in the Import Auto Dealer category for 2009 and more recently was the recipient of the 2013 Consumer Choice Award for Calgary Toyota Dealership.
