1964 Corvette Stingray Roadster. 327/365 HP (L76) car mated to a 4-speed Muncie transmission. Manual steering and brakes. Comes with hardtop and soft top. This car came to Canada from Texas in 2013. It underwent a thorough and detailed restoration where nearly every major component was replaced. In 2018, the motor and transmission were rebuilt (totaling over $14,000.00) with receipts to prove. The engine bay and interior show like the day it rolled off of the assembly line. The chrome and bright work are also flawless. The paint unfortunately suffers from a number of small "bubbles" on the front fenders. It is suspected that there was a reaction between the paint and primer when the car was painted. There are approximately 8-10 bubbles on each fender. Suffice it to say, the car looks spectacular and the paint defect can only be noticed from up close. The paint on the reminder of the vehicle is immaculate. There are no cracks in the fiberglass. The pop-up headlights work as they should. As do the wipers, lighting system, heater and radio! The car comes with the factory manual, workshop manual and even the Delco radio manual! The mileage is believed to be true at 5? ??? miles. This is a turn-key car that was recently driven to our location from a distance of approximately 50km down the 401 without issue. If you're looking to get into the Corvette C2 market, this is the car. This car will continue to appreciate in value. The colour, known as saddle tan is quite rare given that only 1765 were produced. The colour combination is original as per the vehicle identification tag. The seats appear to be leather as opposed to vinyl, it is unclear whether the car came factory with the leather seats or whether they were added during the restoration process.
